I am experiencing thermal throttling with my laptop when playing demanding games; would getting a DeepCool laptop cooler help alleviate the issue?

Generally, a laptop cooler should help with overall laptop temperatures, but it does not provide the level of cooling you would expect with a direct contact CPU/GPU cooler. Since a laptop cooler would be moving air below the notebook; it will essentially be cooling the bottom surface of the outer case. If your system is thermal throttling, you would need to address the main cooling system first and foremost. Try cleaning out the air vents of any dust particles or other obstructions that might be blocking air flow; also, check to see if the CPU fan is functioning correctly.
